This page holds the lookup detail behind post-purchase offer settings: discount display and rounding rules, the design-template catalog, and each template’s seeded discount and copy behaviour. For how to configure an offer, see Configuring post-purchase offer settings.

Discount display and rounding

Post-purchase offers have no separate display-format setting: the saving a shopper sees follows the Discount type you picked. A percentage discount shows as a percentage, a fixed-amount discount shows as a money amount, and an offer never shows both at once. When displaying a percentage discount, Aftersell rounds to the nearest whole number (standard round-half-up rounding):
  • A discount of 39.56% displays as 40%
  • A discount of 39.44% displays as 39%
For the display rules on other surfaces, the Thank You Page has its own format setting and Checkout Upsells can hide the savings text entirely, see Customizing discount displays.

Design templates

You can apply a pre-built design template to any individual V2 single-product offer (multi-product and box offers are not supported). A template supplies a complete layout, copy structure, and a seeded discount as a starting point. Six templates are available, filtered by funnel type: One-time purchase and new subscription templates are available in every funnel. Replacement upsell and subscription upgrade templates only appear inside a funnel of that type. On a subscription-upgrade funnel’s first offer, the frequency upgrade template is marked as Recommended.

Seeded discounts

Each template seeds a starting discount onto the offer when applied. You can change it at any time in the offer’s product widget settings.
  • Bulk supply: 56% off
  • Complete the bundle: 33% off
  • Video sales letter: 30% off
  • Frequency upgrade: 25% off
  • Image stack: 25% off
  • Switch to subscription: 15% off

Starter copy and languages

Placeholder copy in the starter layout is in English. The accept button uses a translated preset (“Add to order” or “Upgrade subscription”) that renders correctly in all 32 supported languages (English plus 31 translations), so you do not need to translate it. All other text widgets contain [Edit] prompts you should replace with your own copy before publishing.
