# Overview

> Overview of Aftersell Thank You Page and Order Status Page widgets, with links to configuration for each widget type.

Customizing your Aftersell Thank You Page and Order Status Page with widgets enhances customer interaction and engagement after checkout. Each widget type is configured on its own page, and this overview links to those pages along with the placement and testing steps that apply to all of them.

## Widget types

## Things to know

* Branding settings automatically align with your Shopify checkout branding settings and cannot be customized within the Aftersell editor.
* Order handling (merge into the original order or create a separate order) is configured on the [Product Recommendation widget](/aftersell/product-recommendation-widget-thank-you-page#discounts-and-order-handling).
* Shopify's checkout preview may not always display widgets. Place a test order to confirm offers appear correctly on a live order. While testing, set your trigger to show for all customers so widgets appear in the Shopify preview, then reset the trigger afterward.
* If you use **manual payment capture** in Shopify with the **Modify original order** setting enabled, Thank You page upsell revenue may not appear immediately in Aftersell analytics. Upsell visits and acceptances are recorded as usual, but revenue only appears after the order's payment status is manually changed to **Paid** in Shopify.

## Troubleshooting

**Widget not displaying:** Ensure the widget is active in Aftersell and that the corresponding app block is placed in the Shopify editor on the Thank You page, Order Status page, or both. See [Thank you page troubleshooting](/aftersell/widget_not_displaying_on_the_thank_you_page) for more.
