# Reports overview

> Explore your store's performance with custom reports and the query Explorer in the Aftersell Reports section.

<Note>
  Reports is in beta and is available on request. Contact the customer support team to enable access.
</Note>

The Reports section is a flexible way to explore your store's performance. It has two parts that work together:

* **Reports** — collections of saved queries shown as widgets, for monitoring the metrics you care about at a glance.
* **The Explorer** — a query builder for asking your own questions: pick metrics, break them down by dimensions, filter, and visualize the result.

## Reports

When you open Reports, you land on the **Reports** table listing every report available to your store. See [Manage reports](/aftersell/reports_dashboards) for creating, editing, and sharing them.

## Exploring your data

Open the [Explorer](/aftersell/reports_explorer) to build a query from scratch — choose what to measure, how to slice it, and the time range, then view the result as a scorecard, chart, or table. Save a query to reuse it, or add it to a report as a [widget](/aftersell/reports_widgets).

Queries are written in **AftersellQL (AQL)**. You build them visually, but you can also type them directly — see [Writing AQL queries](/aftersell/reports_explorer#writing-aql-queries).
